The aroma was hoppy with some sweet accents. It smelled a bit skunky. Tasted bitter and hoppy. This beer was fairly refreshing but that was about it’s only saving grace. A very sub-par brew. gnoff (3574), Göteborg, Sweden

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 2, 2008 A golden hell. Head was lower than expected. Hoppy nose, with strong yeast smell. Arrives with flat, bitter hops and subdued malt. There is straw in here somewhere, as well as plain yogurt on the finish. Feels rough in the mouth. Sammy (4051), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

A malty strong bitterness, though obviously not high IBU. Palate cleaner bitterness that stays with you into the stronger ABV drinks to follow. Appropriate carbonation.
