Clear yellow with white bubbly head. Malty sweet aroma. Malty, grassy/hoppy with a good mouthfeel. It has a corn/grain taste that is very speciel which I could be without. Good lacings and overall OK!

[bottle] Surprisingly strong noble hops aroma for style, but in the flavour the hops are not very dominant. Still a nice crisp maltiness in both. Slightly citrusy components in both as well. Gentle bitterness goes perfectly with the delicate malty sweetness and flavour. Bright dark gold with white foam that drops to a ring and leaves little dots on the sides of the glass. Medium to light body, medium carbonation, lasting hops flavour.

Draft. Pours golden with white head. Not my favorite Helles, but eminently drinkable w/malt and grassiness.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, pilsener golden with a white head. Soft, malty nose. Medium body with lightly sweet malt and some cardboard notes. Ends on a weird sourish note that doesn’t feel quite right. 221206

On draught at The Old Monk, Westminster. Bright golden colour, with insistent carbonation. Mainly grainy, bready malt in the aroma. Not much hop presence in the flavour - just a hint of grassiness. Distinctly sweet on the palate and without sufficient bite to prevent this becoming flabby. Not too impressed.

Draught. I don’t know, i kinda liked it, but thats not saying much after some pretty bad helles beers before it. This was malty, with a light sweetness, some nice breadyness, with touches of grassy hops.

Got this one bottled at the Binny’s Oktoberfest in St. Charles, Illinois. Light yellow pour with a thick, white head. Wonderfully sweet aroma with bread and some lemongrass. Doesn’t look like much but it has an outstanding flavor, lightly citrusy and sweet. Finishes very clean. Excellent.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale yellow colour with a longlasting white head. Malty, grassy and breasy aroma. Sweet malty grassy flavor with a smooth mouthfeel. Long malty bitter finish.
