Someone really needs to change the Commercial Description, as this beer is available in several locations in Toronto and area, often alongside the Marzen, as it was at Rhino. Pale gold color, fine carbonation, light white head. sweet yeasty and lightly grassy aroma is replayed in flavor - very agreeable sweetness in taste, honey, yeast, apple pear and lemon. Hallertauer? hops are grassy and herbal, spring freshness. Round and a little biscuity, I thought it nice.

Bright yellow-aroma, good sized white head. Well balanced aroma of fresh bread hints of honey and barley, and some herbal hop character. Very active carbonation, quite refreshing. Fresh and well-balanced flavour, with the herbal/grassy hops complimenting the sweet and slghtly grainy malt. Pretty nice stuff, flavourful and easy to drink.

Oct 17, 2009 tap @ chanceys in a 32oz glass. pours out a clear golden/straw colour, large fluffy head. smells like bread dough and sweet caramel. taste is smooth and clean. solid oktoberfest. nothing crazy.

Oct 26, 2008 Draught at the Beerbistro. Pours a light yellow colour with a slight white head. Nose of yeast and sweet malt. Flavour is malt, grains and yeast. Lightish body. Ok, but definitely nothing special.

Oct 1, 2008 The aroma has a stale, earthy smell of cereal grains, malts. The appearance is the reddish/orange of an Oktoberfest. The flavor is again mostly the malted barley, very cereal-like and not very pleasant. The finish is entirely unremarkable, mostly malts. This is one of the weaker Oktoberfest/marzens.

Sep 27, 2008 On draft at Mr. Dunderbaks. Cereal, cereal, cereal. Very complex in the chex arena with nice yeasty and cereal flavors throught. Nice malty balance, but low on hops. Tasty! Pours golden brown.
