Oct 1, 2008 The aroma has a stale, earthy smell of cereal grains, malts. The appearance is the reddish/orange of an Oktoberfest. The flavor is again mostly the malted barley, very cereal-like and not very pleasant. The finish is entirely unremarkable, mostly malts. This is one of the weaker Oktoberfest/marzens.

Sep 27, 2008 On draft at Mr. Dunderbaks. Cereal, cereal, cereal. Very complex in the chex arena with nice yeasty and cereal flavors throught. Nice malty balance, but low on hops. Tasty! Pours golden brown.

Sep 10, 2008 Copper color with a foamy white head. Light hoppy aroma. Nice balance but slightly overshadowed by the spiciness of the hops.

Sep 7, 2008 A dark brown barely clear lager that pours with a small tan head that disappears in a minute. The aroma is strong barley and rye. The flavor is very malty, grassy and full. The character, however is sharp and bitibg whilst being disagreeable. The finish taste like barley malt syrup from concentrate. This beer does remind you of the fall season though, primarily with its aroma.

Sep 6, 2008 pours amber with decent fine bubbled head. nicely malted with light caramel flavor and a decent bitterness on the tounge. recommended as a good quality oktoberfest.
