Compact and fadingfoam, much unstable and brittle. Limpid yellow color, little shining and fizzy. Alcohol and medium malty scent, little pungent and watery. Fresh and dry taste of malt and alcohol, much smooth and drinkable. Good slightly hoppines end. carlitos99 (184), The Big Apple, USA

Too bad they don’t make me happy. Malty sweet. Carmel. Thin body. Ein maB und eine Brezeln would make this one a little besser. Prost! JohnC (2280), Mission Viejo, California, USA

Some caramel in the aroma. Flavour is clean and reflects against the aroma. Toasty and refreshing but not tremendously good. Finish is soft and clean. Not bad. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Oct 10, 2004 The DM & Hotstuff’s European Honeymoon trip beer number 55. This draft brew in a 1 liter maß from the beer tent at the Oktoberfest in Munich Germany was my first maß. It had a very large sized head of white colored foamy fine to large sized long lasting bubbles that left behind a softly carbonated transparent orange colored body. The aroma was a typical mild malty lager one. The mouth feel was mildly tingly and the flavor contained notes of mild orange peel and malts. A very nice malty flavor, but I expected more. mustang3 (254), Whitby, Canada

Not as malty as I was expecting but very enjoyable. Biscuity rich nose with a subtle buttery flavour. Dry and refreshing on the finish wihtout being bitter.
