Bottle poured a dark amber with a good head. Aroma of sweet malt. Flavor is sweet and malty but has a metalic taste that lays on the palate. Almost a little to sweet for me, not to bad though.

Yup, another great ofest. I did a tasting of different available ofests and this one was consistently sasisfying, but lacked some of the rich munich malt character that was exemplary in others.

Bottle at the Schnitzelbank Restaurant in Jasper, Indiana. Small tan head that was fully diminished, fine-medium sized bubbles, uncarbonated, transparent, and an orange hue. Malty, caramel, chocolate aroma. Flavor was sweet, malty, and caramel. Tingly mouthfeel.

Amber brown with a small head. Aromas are malty - chocolate cake and quite doughy. Flavours are smoky malts with sweet malts, yeast, peat and more dough. Herbs and spices to finish. An Oct Fest beer with lots of character.

Well done. Nice rich malt taste and the hops and yeast go a long way too. Lost a little bit of carbonation near the end but it didn’t detract from the beer. Good, strong, slightly-bitter finish. I’d be content with one or many of these in one night. Also tastes better on tap.

Does not live up to Oktoberfests on even the American market. Far too much carmel and a maltiness that is reminiscent of malzbier(gag!). Still a decent brew if drank objectively.
