Beer courtesy of my new neighbor, thanks mang. Beer seems crystal clear brownish orange with minimal head and what was there did not last long. Aroma is malty with some spice very light and crisp. Dry light flavour with mildly bitter caramel malts, grass, elements of orange and pepper. Very easy drinking

Pours copper brown with small quickly diminishing off-white head. Aroma of sweet caramell and prunes. Flavor is all bread and caramell. A nice bitter finish but it felt as if the body was a bit too thin.

Bottle. Clear amber body. Fizzy, off-white head, mostly diminishing. The aroma is strongly malty and candy-like — caramel, toasted bread. Hints of flowers and honey and sugar. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Nice sweet caramel first sip. Medium body, very watery texture and lively carbonation (nice fizzy finish). This is easy drinking (deceptive for almost 6% alcohol) though a little more hop presence in the finish would help the balance. Enjoyable.

Tried this around that time. Malty and a bit corny with roasty hints and a dash of hops.

Serving: 12 oz. bottle. Appearance: Nice deep amber color with a good sized, foamy, white head. Decent head retention. Aroma: Caramel malt, light biscuit notes, a bit of dustiness, and a wee bit of grassy hops. Taste: Nice caramel malt sweetness up front, some grain notes, and a pleasant mix of biscuit and light hop bitterness. A good showcase for the malt. Palate: Medium, slightly prickly carbonation with a medium mouthfeel and a medium, slightly bitter finish. Overall: Simple and well done. A good example of the style. Rebuy: Perhaps. You certainly won’t be disappointed by this.
