A Mes rate. Bottle at Quinns. Bright amber gold with a decent white head. A typical ofest marzen is all I have in my notes. Strange thing is, light on the ground as my notes are, they probably do a thoroughly good job of describing this beer. I guess it’s better than writing cheese tits or something....

A Mes rate. Bottle at Quinns. Bright amber gold with a decent white head. Straight forward Marzen with plenty of bread and straw with a spritely finish with a faint bitterness. Straight forward and typical.

A clear amber colored beer with a foamy beige head. The aroma of malts with sweets of fruits and some honey. The taste of a little sweet caramel with some fruits with a little bitterness. A little dusty. The aftertaste is bittersweet in a customary way.

This is a fairly quintessential Oktoberfest, perhaps not the greatest example but certinally about as represenative and classic as it gets. Pours clear a deep orangeish red with not a lot of head. Smells roasty and autumnal with a touch of metallic copper. The flavor is sweet, a little nutty with a faint noble hop flavor, largley malty but one of the nicer super malty beers I have had certinally some caramel flavor here.
