iride15 (129), Orlando, Florida, USA Feb 19, 2008 smooth, easy to drink Oktoberfest that I have found locally tastes better on tap instead of in the bottle (have no idea why). has a lingering aftertaste, and goes well with heavier foods.
DrDavid (670), Johnson, Vermont, USA Jan 4, 2009 Bottle. Sweet malty aroma, some hops evident. Orange-amber body, large off-white head. Flavor is very sweet, caramel and malty, a bit syrupy. Some alcohol in the finish. jake65 (1355), Meridian, Idaho, USA Dec 30, 2008 Bottle: Bright golden with a smaller, creamy head. Sweet malty aroma with caramel and a little earthy. Tastes floral hoppy up front into an earthy and malty finish. A bready smooth transition into more light florals in the tail. An enjoyable okto at xmas time. GregClow (2395), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Dec 29, 2008 Draught at The Abbot on the Hill Oktoberfest Dinner. Deep orange-amber with two fingers of snow white head. Aroma is malty and fruity, with notes of apricot and peach. Medium bodied. Flavour is solid and balanced, with a moderately bitter finish. A well made lager, I was glad to have tried it from a very fresh keg. cyrenaica (320), Milton, Ontario, Canada Dec 25, 2008 400ml draught <br />

I tried this beer on October 14, 2008 at "The Beer Bistro" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a crystal translucent dark golden colour with a thin white head. The aroma has some grainy malt hints, some hop hints, as well as some fruity hints like apricot. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, and was lightly carbonated. The flavour was grainy malt, and was very smooth. This went down well tupalev (2385), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Dec 9, 2008 On tap at the Castle on King in September. Great looking pour, medium yellow with orange and a good sized white head. Malty aroma, almost a touch sweet, with some tinny hops. Taste is decent - yeasty, malty/grainy with a bit of yeast and even a little alcohol. Pretty refreshing. Nothing blew me away, but it was a solid beer.
