Cloudy dark brown with thick white head. Banana, yeast, spices, funk, sweetness. Smells funky too. This was decent.

Pours a dark amber color, slightly cloudy, with a thick white head that sticks around and good lacing. Has the usual banana and bubble-gum flavors of a Hefe, with a bit of a metallic taste in the first few sips. Darker than many Hefe’s also has a light hint of coffee in the taste in the finish.

(bottle thanks JK) pours hazy orange-brown with a white head. Aroma is very strong with scents of banana, strong bubblegum (which had me thinking this was a weizenbock at first), bready yeast, and light spicy clove. Flavors are also similar with tastes of banana, spice (notably clove and now cinnamon), with some bready yeast on the finish changing to a more lengthy crisp wheat finish. The mouthfeel is quite full. This was a very good hefeweizen, and is incredibly underrated.

500ml bottle with flip cap from Champanes, pours a cloudy rust-brown amber with some gold at the edges, initially had a good off-white head and then it lowers to a thin cover, lots of effervescence, aroma of banana, malt, wheat and bubblegum with some lemon citrus, banana flavor with some malt sweetness and citrus, some dark wheat flavors, small bitterness at the finish, mouth feel is more then medium, gave some creaminess on the palate, this was an ok drink, nothing outstanding.

Bottle brown, 500 ml
Appearance: Pours hazy orangy brown body, head is snowy white, frothy, pillowy, initially big but not huge, slowly decreasing to minimal, there is some faint lacing, carbonation of the body is weak, natural.
Aroma: Very intensive, natural, mellow, yeasty and fruity, interesting and inviting banana spiced with clove, some notes of brown sugar, vanilla, carrot juice, raspberry, pleasant, well balanced and rounded.
Flavour: Interesting full, mature taste of hefe - weizen, well pronounced clove, banana, fat wheat malt, orange - grapefruit notes and some notes of gentle toastyness mixed with yeastyness, very firmly defined in its style boundaries, quite huge beer with higher alcohol percentage.
Palate: Body is medium to full, texture is smooth, pleasant, carbonation on palate is medium, finish feel is yeasty with fruit easters of banana, herbal accents of clove and whipped cream.

Flip-top bottle. The beer pours to a murky chestnut colored body with a lively long lasting foamy white head. The aroma reminds me of the Bell’s wheat series. Dark wheat and wheat germ with nice yeasts. The flavor has that tart dark wheat and yeasty unfiltered thing going on. Nice esters. The palate is nice and textured with a tart carbonated feel and medium body. A nice beer.

Enormous offwhite shiny head rises up, then lasts a long time. Body is clear reddish brown before I add the yeast. When I do it turns a cloudy darkish brown. Vinuous fruity banana wheat aroma with orangey metallic hop notes and some breadiness. Sweetish-dry delicate roasty yoghurty wooden banana wheat taste with acidic smoky notes. Soft astringent mouthfeel. Balanced and harmonic. Dryish orangey metallic hops with grassy spicy peppery notes. Excellent! One of the best weizens I’ve had. (0.5l bottle, Rewe, München.)

Bottle: The aroma is rather weak for a Hefe. There is some light banana, bubblegum, and very faint citrus notes. It pours a hazy orangish-red with a one inch off-white head that lasts a minute or so. It really doesn’t look too much like a Hefe. The flavor starts with with some light caramel and banana. The finish has some light tangy wheat notes. I don’t notice any clove. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel and mild carbonation. It’s drinkable and slightly refreshing, but a rather bland example of a Hefeweizen.
