This has a nice aroma. Good cloves. The flavor is very easy drinking. A little wheaty, but doesn’t come on too strong. Good stuff.

Sampled from 500 ml bottle and shared by JK. Pours a hazy orange amber brew with a thick off-white head that has some nice retention and spotty lacing. Aroma of sweet golden grain and caramel malts, banana ester, a touch of clove, and some light raisin. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonated with flavors of light fruity character, banana esters, cloves and a little green apple. Finish has a nice balance of dry malt and banana yeast aftertaste flavors.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a huge off-white towards light tan head. Aroma is orange fruity with a mild banana fruity ester accent - unusual. Malty base flavour with a more classic banana estery flavour on top. Light wheaty flavour into the finish. Medium sweet finish.

500ml bottle. pours hazy amber with white head. aroma is rather doughy, some banana too. flavors are bready and caramel wth lots of clove and some christmas spices finishes it out. mouth feel is a touch heavy and the carbonation is just not lively like you’d want a hefe to be.

Pours a very hazy golden color with with large off-white frothy head that fades quickly. Aroma is light banana and clove with some malt and wheat notes. Taste mirrors the aroma but it has a bit more emphasis on malt that I would expect. Still it’s enjoyable but I’d love a bit more carbonation.

Pours a dark golden color with a decent sized head. Very light aroma of wheat, clove, banana. Nice flavor, wish the aroma was stronger.

Cloudy, murky orange color with an initially large, but quickly diminishing head. Disappointing and light nose is missing the signature banana and clove. More aromas of husky wheat, orange and citrus. Flavor lacks complexity and is more like an american wheat, not a hefeweizen. Hearty wheat, with light yeast derived flavors of orange, along with some fruit. Disappoint German wheat ale.
