Cloudy brown and orange with a small head. Aromas are toffee malts with green apple fruitiness. Flavours are weetabix malts with apple, yeast and bubblegum. Some caramel. Has a good sparkle. JoeinUccle (902), Brussels, Belgium Apr 16, 2008 Aromatically big hefe, maybe a bit sweet. Bottle pours a thickly cloudy dark orange, nice off-white head. Nose is lots of bubble gum, ripe banana and clove. Pretty spicy. Flavor is quite sweet but short of cloying, some spicy-floral notes, very light bitterness, grainy toward the end. A little thin in the mouth. Refreshing but with plenty of flavor. ogivlado (3036), Zagreb, Croatia Apr 10, 2008 swing top bottle (500ml). -Hazy dark amber/brownish coloured, medium sized white head, lively carbonation. Typical and pleasant weizen taste. Yeasty, fruity (banana, orange, cloves) and mild spicy taste. Very refreshing and easy going beer. Doggythedog (1541), Split, Croatia Apr 7, 2008 0.5l bottle courtesy of and shared with ogivlado (thanks!) Poured a muddy brownish coolour with a medium to big sized thick white head that went away slowly. The sweetish nose starts with some dusty yeastiness but is dominated by cloves. The taste shows this to be a simple but very tasty wheat beer. Yeast, bubblegum , lemony around the adges, some lacticity and cloves. Very drinkable. Light and definitely not a world beater but a truly pleasant beer. Quinten (955), zaandam, Netherlands Mar 1, 2008 At the tringut kleve germany, claudy yeasty orage and golden colour, full one! very tastefull, lots of fruit, and grainy parts, flowers, wonderfull beer. Joeh (1908), Buckinghamshire, England Feb 11, 2008 Bottle. A reasonably standard looking hefeweizen, murky orange with a tight white head and good lacing . It has a sweet aroma with obvious alcohol, some banana, yeast and cereal in the background. Softly flavoured, quite sweet with lots of banana, a touch of spice and maybe even some pear drop/acetone character. I am not a fan of German wheat beers but I find this quite drinkable, even though there is nothing particularly novel about it.
