50cl bottle poured into a weizen glass. Copper with plenty of white creamy head. Aroma is bananas, citrus, bread. Flavor is the same. Short to medium sour finish.

500 ml bottle. From Germany. Hazy brown colour with huge off-white head. Bready, wheaty aroma with some banana and spices. Quite ’dark’ flavour with malts and banana. Rather sweet. Also quite dunkel for a Hefeweiß.

50 cl. bottle. Hazy copper brown pour with a head that is only medium in size be hefe standards, and settles disappointingly quickly. Nice yeasty aroma of bread followed by some clove and fruity esters. LIght to medium body, brightly effervescent, and an easy drinking smoothness that leaves a clean palate. Nice balance between the light malty sweetness and wheaty tartness. Finish with only the slightest hint of bitterness, but combined with the tartness, results in a dry finish. I thought this was pretty decent.

[bottle--thanks, cgreb!] Potent spicy phenolic aroma with some herbs. Cloudy yellowish brown under a lasting white blanket. Soft bubblegum and clove flavour with light, but apparent bitterness offsetting an almost lemony sweet malt. Clean finish, moderate carbonation, medium body.

0,5 l flip-top bottle. Bought in november in Germany, forgot, than i’ve found it yesterday. Best before 0907. Delicious appearance with a hazy opalescent, brownish body, nice creamy and lacing tan head. Fine aroma of honey and spicies like cinnamon, clove, some toasty caramel, fruity banana. Medium bodied but smooth mouthfeel, fruity character with banana and citrus, light toasted caramel, clove and cinnamon again with a lively carbonation. Good fruity-spicy aftertaste. Nice after all the months in bad conditions...

Bottle from tytoanderso, thanks Ty! Poured a lightly cloudy orange-yellow color with a 2 inch thick, dense off-white head that slowly faded to a thick layer and left a couple spots of lacing. Consistent hefe aroma with hints of wheat, some spice (specifically clove), fruit (banana and orange), and a bit of doughy yeast. Lightly sweet, fruity entry with some hints of orange flesh that leads into a wheaty, lightly yeasty middle with some hints of banana and some clove spice that lingering into the lightly dry finish. Moderate carbonation and slightly thin on the palate, but it is easy drinking so I am not so sure that is really a detractor. Overall, a solid, easy drinking beer that does a decent job representing the style, I just wish it had a bit more body and a more robust flavor profile.
