| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 11, 2008 Bottle. A reasonably standard looking hefeweizen, murky orange with a tight white head and good lacing . It has a sweet aroma with obvious alcohol, some banana, yeast and cereal in the background. Softly flavoured, quite sweet with lots of banana, a touch of spice and maybe even some pear drop/acetone character. I am not a fan of German wheat beers but I find this quite drinkable, even though there is nothing particularly novel about it. pantani (1902), Salinas, California, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 9, 2008 This amber beer poured with a huge white head that took a while to subside. There is a pleasant yeast aroma and a slightly sweet malt flavor with some banana ester and a bitter hop finish. kappldav123 (1869), Markkleeberg, Germany
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 25, 2009 The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Starts strong-malty, fine yeasty, notes of cinnamon and nuts. Well balanced finish, fine yeasty. Very good beer! Crosling (1854), Loveland, Colorado, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 1, 2008 Cloudy, murky orange color with an initially large, but quickly diminishing head. Disappointing and light nose is missing the signature banana and clove. More aromas of husky wheat, orange and citrus. Flavor lacks complexity and is more like an american wheat, not a hefeweizen. Hearty wheat, with light yeast derived flavors of orange, along with some fruit. Disappoint German wheat ale. Dorwart (1825), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 30, 2008 Thin head of fine off-white bubbles. Muddy, dirty looking water. Kind of looks like a watery apple cider. Decaying wheat, grass, yeast, cloves and soft malts. Flavor is pretty much the same. Bit of sickly sweetness and vegetal flavors also. Lots of chewey wheat and sugary malts. Bit of brown sugar flavors. Finishes sickly sweet and clovey. Some graininess also. oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA
