Poured a muddy brownish coolour with a medium to big sized thick white head that went away slowly. The sweetish nose starts with some dusty yeastiness but is dominated by cloves. The taste shows this to be a simple but very tasty wheat beer. Yeast, bubblegum , lemony around the adges, some lacticity and cloves. Very drinkable. Light and definitely not a world beater but a truly pleasant beer. esjaygee (1600), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 22, 2009 Murky orange to peach with a medium white head that doesn’t stay the course. Aroma of spicy yeast, clove, fruit and toasted malt. Medium palate has fruit, yeast and clove for flavors and is a bit dry on the finish. It started out great but kind of ended up being a bit of a letdown. It was good and all, but I prefer the regular hefeweizen to this one. TheBeerOrg (1594), Kentucky, USA

Potent spicy phenolic aroma with some herbs. Cloudy yellowish brown under a lasting white blanket. Soft bubblegum and clove flavour with light, but apparent bitterness offsetting an almost lemony sweet malt. Clean finish, moderate carbonation, medium body. MrBunn (1563), Western, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 26, 2009 Fancy swing top bottle. Pours a dirty brownish amber with a medium head and aromas of apple juice concentrate, a bit of oranges, bread and bananas. Flavor is uninspiring and watery. Tastes like the one part apple juice one part water mix you give to your kids in a bottle when they’re little. I’m wondering if this is old or if it just ain’t that good. Hmmm... looking more carefully at the bottle it says produced on: 03/08... I may have to find a fresher bottle and redo this one. JonMoore (1562), Loughborough, Leicestershire, England
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 24, 2006 Bottle. Cloudy orange with a thick and creamy white head. Aroma of yeast, wheat, cloves and banana. Similar for the taste with some malt and more accent on the banana. Quite intense flavours for the type of beer. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation for the style. Good hefeweizen. yobdoog (1543), Woodridge NY, New York, USA
