| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 21, 2008 (bottle thanks JK) pours hazy orange-brown with a white head. Aroma is very strong with scents of banana, strong bubblegum (which had me thinking this was a weizenbock at first), bready yeast, and light spicy clove. Flavors are also similar with tastes of banana, spice (notably clove and now cinnamon), with some bready yeast on the finish changing to a more lengthy crisp wheat finish. The mouthfeel is quite full. This was a very good hefeweizen, and is incredibly underrated. BigBeer45 (710), Michigan, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 8, 2009 aroma of yeast and some small esters. appearance is slightly darker and also more cloudy then regular hacker or other similar weizen. flavor is fruity but the surprise is hops, or some other general bitterness that is sharp on the center of the tounge, where a standard weizen would feel more round and smooth on the palate. mouthfeel is not as coating and lingering compared to standard hacker. overall a nice departure, more substantial and heavy then the regular old fare.
