Bottle... Lightly hazy, deep golden ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Good retention. Fruity, spicy aroma and flavor with notes of (you guessed it) clove, banana and pink bubblegum. Well-balanced. Medium-bodied and velvety with medium carbonation. Finishes crisp, spicy and refreshing. Although most German hefe’s taste and smell the same to me, I rather liked this one. Thanks go out to Paul for bringing this one back from his recent jaunt around Europe.

it pours a copper-amber colour and leaves very few foam; the expected matured banana aroma is well present with a touch of corn, high carbonation, some sweetness and a modest malt body characterize the mouthfeel, the finish is moderate, corny and with some residual sweetness - good but desperately classic

Slightly stronger, richer weissbier. Lots of banana and cloves in the aroma. Sweet mouthfeel, tart, wheaty, soft and round, liked it very much.

Little head over amber-orange muddy beer. Dry, some banana & cloves, bit peppery. Lightly sweet, lots of fruitiness (strawberry, banana, citrus) but generally not so terribly ideomatic. Quite yeasty, despite the dryness. Finish is nearly lemony. Medium bodied, finishes very spritzy. OK Weisse. Best on table at H-P. Brauereiausschank.

Hazy amber colour with nice big white head. Aroma is sweet with lots of banana. Flavor is also sweet and again the banana is very clear. Some notes of caramel is also in the flavor.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Hazy, amber coloured, huge, creamy, stable off-white foam; wheaty, a bit sourish and also caramelly nose with distinctive hints of bananas and cloves; solid sweetish (caramelly9 flavour, light to medium bodied; caramelly, fruity, also a bit warming finish. Well rounded, pleasant copy of a Schneider-Weisse................

Bottled: Orange coloured. Light hazy. Huge dense white head. Aroma of spices, banana and yeast. Quite harmonious. Flavour of spice, yeast, fruit and wheat. Smooth and balanced. Medium body. Is dry, fruity and crisp in the end. Quite refreshing.

(bottle) Hazy amber colour with a firm foamy off-white head. Clovy and light-sweet wheaty and yeasty aroma with banana. Wheat-malty and banana-fruity taste with a strong clovy note, medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel; lasting finish with notes of caramel. Quaffable Weizen.
