A very tasty beverage that poured a cloudy copper/gold in my glass with a big off-vanilla head. The nose is banana, vanilla, and wheat. The flavor brings strong banana and vanilla notes to the fore over a smooth wheat/bread base. A nice side to my Christmas supper!

500 Ml bottle in Germany. Cloudy amber coloured with an off white head. Aroma of fruits especially bananas. Flavour of grain and bananas with fruity and spicy notes. I am not sure really but this seemed to be watery and weak for an HP

very classic banana and clove/spice smell but a more powerful yeast and bread nose than most weissens. light brown pour with a thin white head. thin mouthfeel with a disappointingly weak flavor. not bad though.

Fancy swing top bottle. Pours a dirty brownish amber with a medium head and aromas of apple juice concentrate, a bit of oranges, bread and bananas. Flavor is uninspiring and watery. Tastes like the one part apple juice one part water mix you give to your kids in a bottle when they’re little. I’m wondering if this is old or if it just ain’t that good. Hmmm... looking more carefully at the bottle it says produced on: 03/08... I may have to find a fresher bottle and redo this one.

500ml Bottle: Aroma of metal, wheat, slight yeast, and moldy water-bottle. Poured brown in color with a small than head that disappeared very quickly. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of small and large sized particles throughout. Looks like muddy water or diarrhea. Flavor is slightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of yeast, slight banana, metal, and a hint of spices. Medium body. Thin texture. Soft to average carbonation. Metallic finish. Eww. Drain-pour.

This flippy top bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a very large sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were and left behind a hazy dark orange brown colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The mild aroma was malty and banana. The thin mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The thin flavor contained notes of malt hops and semi-metallic. Not one that I would buy again.

Pour from a 500ml bottle from SL. Wasn’t sure what to expect vs. their standard hefe, and even after this one, still not sure. It seemed more boring than the typical hefe, but that’s about it. The pour was darker than a standard hefe with some orange type hues. The aroma was bananas, strong bread yeasts, light cloves. The flavor followed, a tad muted compared to the brighter examples of the style. Mouthfeel was on the less than average carbonated side of things if anything.
