Oct 25, 2008 Bottled. Pours a hazy golden orangish color with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, spices and fruit. Taste of wheat, clove, light banana, and spices. Has diacetyl flavor in the finish.

Sep 6, 2009 Pour from a 500ml bottle from SL. Wasn’t sure what to expect vs. their standard hefe, and even after this one, still not sure. It seemed more boring than the typical hefe, but that’s about it. The pour was darker than a standard hefe with some orange type hues. The aroma was bananas, strong bread yeasts, light cloves. The flavor followed, a tad muted compared to the brighter examples of the style. Mouthfeel was on the less than average carbonated side of things if anything.

Nov 1, 2007 Pours hazy and orange-coloured. Large fluffy head. Malty and yeasty aroma with hints of bananas and citrus fruits. Mouthfeel could be a bit stronger.

Deep amber brown, brief foamy head. Yeasty wheaty aroma, some banana. Refreshing carbonation. Slightly mushroomy twist to the yeasty banana taste. Some later toffee too, and hops which started buddy, but then became papery. Finish has a bit of all of the tastes, but is quite muted. Fairly refreshing brew.

Mar 12, 2009 bottle, pours hazy amber, tall off white to light tan head. Great aromas of bread, yeast and some light bannana notes. Creamy mouth with light carbonation lets through some nice light malt and light roasted malt with a light bitter finish that is more spice than hop. Not bad.

Feb 5, 2009 Updated: Apr 1, 2009Tasty, not the most amazing beer I’ve ever had but I do like this beer.
Pours a dark tan almost brown in color. Rich foamy head. Sweet malt to nose, good citric start, decent mouth finish but watered down after taste.
Good yeast culture at the bottom

Oct 6, 2007 Bottled. Cloudy orange color, short head. Aroma of some banana, caramel malt, some honey maybe. Sweet taste, quite thick, bit nutty. I expected more actuallly.
