Body is clear reddish brown before I add the yeast. When I do it turns a cloudy darkish brown. Vinuous fruity banana wheat aroma with orangey metallic hop notes and some breadiness. Sweetish-dry delicate roasty yoghurty wooden banana wheat taste with acidic smoky notes. Soft astringent mouthfeel. Balanced and harmonic. Dryish orangey metallic hops with grassy spicy peppery notes. Excellent! One of the best weizens I’ve had. (0.5l bottle, Rewe, München.) Doggythedog (1590), Split, Croatia

Poured a muddy brownish coolour with a medium to big sized thick white head that went away slowly. The sweetish nose starts with some dusty yeastiness but is dominated by cloves. The taste shows this to be a simple but very tasty wheat beer. Yeast, bubblegum , lemony around the adges, some lacticity and cloves. Very drinkable. Light and definitely not a world beater but a truly pleasant beer. georgekessel (68), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Poured a very dark color for the style; a muddy caramel color with a big fluffy head. Aroma of bread, cola and cocoa; fresh and clean. Flavor was malty and sweet with some vanilla and banana. A bit of light alcohol flavor as well. Very good stuff here. Skyview (4057), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA

Pours a hazy orange amber brew with a thick off-white head that has some nice retention and spotty lacing. Aroma of sweet golden grain and caramel malts, banana ester, a touch of clove, and some light raisin. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonated with flavors of light fruity character, banana esters, cloves and a little green apple. Finish has a nice balance of dry malt and banana yeast aftertaste flavors. hoooraybeer (48), Cranford, New Jersey, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 26, 2008 A fluffy head quickly disapated. The color is a dirty unapealing brown. The aroma is made up of a simple banana, slight spice and yeast. The flavor is the same with a quick vanilla caramel note held by a frothy fullness. It finishes with a orange zest and champagne like dryness that makes it very refreshing. There is no aftertaste to speak of. I like it.
