| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 24, 2008 Hazy dark golden to amber colored liquid. Lots of bubble activity. Taller head that settles to a couple fingers of off-white rolling meadow foam. Heavy yeast and wheat aromas. Some banana, starfruit and hint of cloves also in the nose. Strong wheat and caramel flavors in the front. Banana and light fruit in the middle Quite thick on the palate. Thick and chewy kind of weiss. The kind of weiss I would enjoy on a crisp fall day. Finish has a bite of cloves. Linger is long with sweet wheat and touch of grain. Solid ur-weiss. dortmunder (961), Herdecke, Germany
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Mar 10, 2005 Bottled. Dark amber/brown colour with a big, frothy head. Aroma is mostly banana and cloves. Taste is dominated by banana and spiciness. Also, yeasty and slightly caramelly. Mediumbodied and a generally good mouthfeel. This weizen is flawless and nice, but a bit boring and nothing special. Still, a good naturtrübes weizen. Thanks to joss for this one. Metalhead (572), Lake Zurich, Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 23, 2008 Beautiful hazy amber color with a modest head. Aroma is faint banana bread with hints of wheat.
Flavor is pretty spot on to nose. Agreed that it falls a little short in the flavor dept. mouth feel could be thicker. JonMoore (1562), Loughborough, Leicestershire, England
