| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 12, 2008 Pours a murky pinkish/brown with a lovely large creamy off-white foam on top. Rich malty aroma, lots of esters and spice. Despite the strong aroma/color this is actually a very light hefe. Some rich caramel malt, lots of fruit, banana, apple, strawberry, lightly nutty/brown sugar flavors. Slightly metallic finish with a bit of clove. The fruitiness of this hefe is really its unique point. Light body with medium, but finer fluffy, carbonation. Very close to banana’s foster.
