500ml bottle bought at Reading BF 09, drunk at home. Clear deep gold, thick rocky off white head. It’s an ok lager. Nothing wrong with it apart from being a bit thin in the mouth and perhaps could do with a bit more hop on the finish. Yes, ok, just a bit lacking in body.

Bottle in quinns. Alround rating: Sweet pale malts, bready/doughy character, some herbal bittering hop, grassyness also. Not bad.

A Mes rate: bottle from Quinns.
Typical very clean gold German looks with a very thin white head. Metallic hoppage and creamy malt aroma. Similar flavour. Rather astringent. Faint bitterness in the finish. Full of corn all round. Run of the mill at best.

Bottle@Home. Herbal, apple, bit alcoholic aroma. Pale yellow colour, white head, fair lace. Light malty, bitter, herbal, hint of tea, dry-ish mouth feel. Plain, straightforward European Strong Lager imo.

Bottled (from beerangel.de). Golden colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is mild fruits, some hops, caramel and mild rubbery notes. Flavour is hops, malts, some fruits and mild notes of alcohol too. Wellbalanced and actually quite refreshing.

0,5 liter beugelfles. Goed uitgebalanceerd bier. Wel apart vind ik dat feest bier meer procenten alcohol heeft.
