Peach-highlighted straw pour with a snowy white cap. Lemon herbal menthol aroma, under-girded with good country white bread. Resiny herbal hop backbone, a touch of lemon. Simple soft malt. Light palate. A very pleasant way to fight thirst. This doesn’t fit with my perception of what normally constitutes an Oktoberfest/Märzen, but a pleasant beer never-the-less. pivnizub (5048), Bochum, Porúří, Germany

A boring, poor brew....... bierkoning (6071), La Tropica, Netherlands
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Dec 4, 2006 Light golden color. Malt and a hint of peach in the aroma. Medium to full bodied. Very malty, even a bit buttery flavor with peach. Clean and powerful beer that could use just a bit more hops. MoritzF (4989), Bochum, Germany
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 29, 2006 (swing top bottle) Clear, golden colour with a fluffy white foam. Mild, moderately sweet malty, slightly grainy aroma with herbal hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium to light bodied, although it has 6 % ABV, which reminds me of an European Strong Lager, also with a quite soft carbonation. Slightly toasted malty taste with herbal notes; moderately dry malty, light bitter and short finish with hints of alcohol. Mediocre Festbier. RichardGretton (3152), Leicestershire, England

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 17, 2006 Bottle. 1989 vintage at Kulminator. I was intrigued by this especially as it was only 1.40E. Pours an orange-brown with a small white head. The aroma has minerals, sweet fruit jams, and caramel. Flavour has sweet malt, cookies, sugar...not a great deal of depth but it’s still passable. It’s hard to imagine this being 17 years old. HenrikSoegaard (4363), Randers, Denmark
