An orange beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel, but also some perfumated notes mixes in. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel as well as some dusty hop notes, that gives it a dry slightly bitter end.

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful, clear fully golden with a creamy, white head leaving a pretty lacework. Very malty aroma. Good, full body with a distinct pale malt character and a dry, light hoppy finish. Solid German quality. 231205

Bottle. Sweetish, dusty aroma. Dark golden colour. Big, stable white head. Grainy, hayish flavour. The alcohol is noticeable, more like a sensation than a flavour. The same goes for the aftertaste which leaves an anis feeling on the tongue.

Bottled (from beerangel.de). Golden colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is mild fruits, some hops, caramel and mild rubbery notes. Flavour is hops, malts, some fruits and mild notes of alcohol too. Wellbalanced and actually quite refreshing.

500ml bottle bought at Reading BF 09, drunk at home. Clear deep gold, thick rocky off white head. It’s an ok lager. Nothing wrong with it apart from being a bit thin in the mouth and perhaps could do with a bit more hop on the finish. Yes, ok, just a bit lacking in body.
