Lovely golden appearance and poured very flat with virtually no carbonation. Malty and quite sweet. The sweetness clings a bit and continues long after you have finished drinking. Nevertheless this is still a very pleasant beer.

Bottle from The Criterion, Leicester. Golden beer, with a fluffy white head. Mmm, quite a nice Oktoberfest beer. Sweet, almost perfumed flavour. A little rose, a little tiny bit of sweet citrus. Lovely through the back of the tongue and slightly stronger on the finish, with a smidge of burnt malt. A really tasty lagered product.

Bottle from the Dodgy Deli, Cowley Road, Oxford 24-01-08 Nice warm golden colour with big bouncy white head. Some citrus and yeast on the nose, soft tasting in the mouth, good fruitiness with that citrus, lemon? pulsing through again, I found this a refreshing and enjoyable beer.

Aranysárga színű sör terjedelmes fehér habkoronával a tetején,ami lassan apad le.Illata édeskés,erőteljesen malátás és kicsit szalmás.Ízében is a gyümölcsös maláta a domináns,amit szépen keretez a komló gyantás,száraz zamata.

Bottle, Dodgy Deli, on Cowley Road in Oxford. Peach-highlighted straw pour with a snowy white cap. Lemon herbal menthol aroma, under-girded with good country white bread. Resiny herbal hop backbone, a touch of lemon. Simple soft malt. Light palate. A very pleasant way to fight thirst. This doesn’t fit with my perception of what normally constitutes an Oktoberfest/Märzen, but a pleasant beer never-the-less.
