Bottle ( with greetings to Garching !): Golden to deep golden, hazy, slowly collapsing fluffy off-white head; quite heavy fruity aroma: ripe bananas and some lemons with a tinge of toasted malt; medium bodied, soft MF, moderate to solid sweet-sourish flavour; solid, but soft fruity-lemony finish, rounded by a well hidden tartness and wheaty aromas. Very good Weizen.........

Thank you Masn/g2b.dk for this one. It’s hazy and golden with a nice head. The aroma has notes of cloves, wheat and banana. The flavour has a light sweetness and light notes of banana, clove and wheat. It’s not very powerful, but quite quenching and OK.

on tap in Eschlkam in the Bavarian Forest. Was named Waldschmidt Jakobi Weisbier, presumably brewed by Hacklberg for Penzkofer-Getränke Eschlkam. Waldschmit was a famous citizen of Eschlkam. Pale yellow colour, very cloudy, large head. Malty and fruity flavours, yeasty and slightly hoppy. Very enjoyable and thirst-quenching.

Draught. Creamy white excellent fully lasting head. Dark amber colour. Nice yeasty aroma and flavor. Oily palate.
