Cask, Beamish Mary, No Place, Co Durham. Pale dark brown colour with a thin off white head. Malty, farty aroma. Sweetish malt flavour, with some vague hop and spice. Dryish, slightly bitter finish. Rather boring really.

Medium brown half pint at local beer festival. Taste is bitter and malty, but not much esle. A fairly simple tasting ale. I much prefer the Farne Island ale by this brewery.

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Dark amber with a small white head. Malt aroma and taste, slightly eggy and earthy. Decent bitter finish. Fair enough.

Half on gravity (3.8 ABV) at London Drinker 08, evening session. Thin, white head resing on a dark brown body. Slightly floral nose. Fruits and malts in a quite well balanced bitter (12.03.2008).

Cask at the Crown Posada, Newcastle. Copper colour, floral aroma, balanced flavour. Good enough but nothing to write home about.
