May 20, 2005 Aroma of dark fruits, prunes and some alcohol, quite nice. Muddy red/brownish colored body, with a small head. Lots of alcohol in the flavor and a nice fruityness. Quite decent.

Apr 9, 2005 An unclear amber beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of alchol and lesser of caramel. The flavor is very sweet with notes of yeast, spices, and alcohol.

Jun 27, 2004 Huge bodied dark beer. I was expecting syrupyness, but it was suprisingly light. The first beer I’ve had over 12% which wasn’t some kind of supercharged lager, and I found this excellent. Really put the wine in Barley wine.

May 17, 2004 Apple aroma. Cloudy, orange/brown color, beige head, good lace. Sweet, very fruity, apple, orange, full. Suprisingly well hidden alcohol and easy drinkable.
