It pours a pale yellow with a thin white head - about what I would think from a mass consumption malt liquor - and the taste is a watery mix of grain undertones and burning alcohol. Still, it’s alright for a chill winter’s eve!

First off, I must admit a guilty admission: I’ve never drunk malt liquor, not to the best of my knowledge, sir. It just never seemed like an appealing choice, as I’ve always appreciated the flavors and nuances of a beverage, above the rush to drunkenness. And add in the ordinary associations, the filthy guy on the bus with a 40 in a paper bag, all the empties in the alley, it just seems like slumming. So call me a snob. Clear, ordinary yellow color, big white head, that crackles and sizzles. Aroma is nonexistent. Slightly sweet, notes of corn and..nothing else. Smooth, clean, light, easily drinkable, but not enjoyable. Completely lacking in flavor, or anything else to appreciate. No, wait,..here it comes...the booze! Thin, flinty, but afloat with grainy sweetness, no finish or body or texture, but hey, how drunk am I now? And where do I gotsta go to get me some crack? By the way, it’s the malt liquor "with the imported taste". Ooo, la, la!

Nice golden color, small white head that faded quickly and left nothing behind. The aroma was lemony and cerealish with maybe a slight hint of hops coming through but that might be pushing it a bit. There is also a slight sweetness that shows up as well. For a malt liquor it’s very easy to drink, with a mild light malty flavor and some mild sweetness as well as a mild corn and lemon, with just a hint of hops coming on at the tail end.Not bad in fact i think it could be a nice lawnmower brew for sure.

Not the worst malt liquor. Gold colour, aroma of alcohol fumes. While there is a little corny sweetness, its rather dry for a malt liquor. The alcohol starts showing itself as it warms.

Not a favorite style of mine, and definately not my favorite malt liquor. An interesting characteristic I noticed was the fact that it seemed to bubble with carbonation forever.

"Malt Liquor...with the imported taste." Surely this must be specially devised for stupid Americans. Better than Mickey’s, but seriously, I’m not gonna sit here and debate the fine shades of differance of various malt liquors with you. I will simply say that taste-wise, Tucher’s Dunkles Hefe-Weizen is superior. P.S. Oddly shaped 16 ounce bottle feels awkward in your hand.

Interesting, this label indicates Narragansett Brewing Co. Wilkes-Barre, PA. I know Miller contracted to do this one for Pabst at one time, but usually they still put Milwaukee on the label somewhere. Straw color with a small lid of white bubbles. Light hops and alcohol aroma. Malt and grain flavor with some flavor hops to balance. Certainly does have a nobel hops presence. Alcohol takes over as it warms. Really a decent strong euro lager.

I guess this stuff is ok for being a malt liquor. Taste is watered down and bitter. Kind of tasted like a Heineken.
