Sampled at RBSG06. Hazy dark brown body with a thin off-white head. Strong oaked aroma. Sweet oaked flavor with a nice fruit edge.

Beer #21 RBSG 06. Thanks to The_Beer_God for sharing out of his glass, never thought I would have the chance to try this. Unfortunately, didn’t care for it all that much, all the more a shame since I love regular Adam. Deep amber appearance. Aroma was honey with a clear wood note. Flavor was also primarily honey and wood, with some dark fruit as well, maybe a bit of chocolate. Wood ultimately overpowered all, making this a bit too one-dimensional.

Pours a thick, dark brownish black. No head and no carbonation to speak of. Excellent complex aroma with raisins, molasses, oak and dark roased malts. Nice legs up the glass. Slightly tart flavor from the oak but wow is it smooth. Like sipping a top notch scotch. Flavor is a little sweet with prunes, blackcherries and molasses. Very nasal alcohol presence at the finish which is not very prominent in the mouth. Very warming. Reminds me of a Sam Adams Triple Bock but done properly. Not that chunky, messy, soy sauce shit that Jim tries to pass off as beer. Long creamy finish that sits heavy in the stomach. Excellent brew and a big thanks to hopdog for sharing this one. Not like he could have drank the whole thing himself anyway!

Noogfest Thanks to MrFacto for bringing this rarity to Shags birthday party! Clear dark brown body with almost no head. Intense raisin and brown sugar aroma. The body is thick with legs on the side of the glass. The flavor is sweet, almost cloying and very filling. A real treat for dessert, but no one stopped after this one.

Facto’s da man. Dark brown pour. Fruit and bourbon aroma. Complex flavors - I got sweet malts, raisins, brandy/bourbon and an slightly unbalanced amount of oak and vanilla for me.

Thanks to MrFacto for bringing this one down. A big maple syrup and whiskey aroma. It poured a dark brown color with almost no head. The flavor is maple syrup, whiskey, chocolate, raisins, caramel, etc etc. Very thick and complex. A very warming beer. Awesome!
