Aromas are oaky, medicinal, brown sugar, honey and a little whiskey.... very complex. Flavors of caramel, oak, chocolate, vanilla, and some more vanilla. Very intense and reminded me of sam adams triple bock, but without the soy sauce flavor. DYCSoccer17 (2201), Davis, California, USA

I get a ton of DILL in the aroma. Smells like freshly grown dill from my parents garden. Crap. There are also malty chocolate notes in the aroma as well. Strange aroma. Hazy cola color with no head at all. Slart is slightly astringent turning very vinous, roasty, and of course oaky. Finishes chocolatey with more vinous cherry notes. Interesting...tastes better than it smells. Vac (2394), San Diego, California, USA

Flavours of toasty molasses and plummy port fruits and a nice woodiness. Long sour bitter finish, but in a good way. Nicely done. mrkimchee (1414), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
