22oz bottle. Poured a murky, swamp water orange with a small off white head. Nose was bursting with fresh fruit and floral hops. Finish was very malty and smooth. Another great one from HotD!!

From a 22 oz bottle this poured a cloudy orange with small white head and heavy lacing. Nose of citrus hops and light malts. Medium but smooth mouthfeel. Favor of citrus hops with some pine, fruit, and flowers. Very long dry bitter finish.

Courtesy of Dunk. Pours a hazy orange color, with a thick, foamy, well retained creamy beige head. Great lacing on the glass. Pretty sharp aroma, alot of orange citrus mixed with juicy hops, and some grapefruit as well. Liked the aroma alot. The flavor is very nicely balanced, the hops were abundant, but balanced out fairly well with good doses of malt and citrus fruits. Only downfall was it was seemingly a little overcarbonated. Good brew overall.

On tap at Horse Brass Cloudy deep orange color with smallish off-white head that leaves a few clumps of lace. Smell is mostly carmelly malt. Sweet and syrupy malt with fruity and spicy woody notes. I get much more woodsy (almost peaty) hop aroma than citrus. Tastes much as it smells. Lots of caramelly sweet malt here, balanced by some citrusy (orange) hop bittering. big malty DIPA. As a hop-head Im kinda disappointed in this one, seems much more malty than I expected. Smooth mouthfeel, medium-heavy body with moderate carbonation keeps it easy to swallow. Personally just too malty for my taste in a DIPA.

22 oz bottle from beastiefan2k. Fall 2007 on the label. Pour is a very hazy cloudy golden orange. Looks like juice, almost. A nice two inch white head tops the beer, and has decent retention. Aroma of orange citrus hops and clean pine. Nice nose. Taste is very floral, orange citrus, delicate and soft. The finish has some fairly sharp grapefruit bitterness. Also a bit of rye bite. Body is very light, and mouth drying. Super drinkable, snappy, and well done. Really great balance and approachability. I just love this brewery. Thanks for this very generous bonus Eugene!

22 oz bottle. Poured a clear light orange color. Head was tall and white with good retention and lacing. Pleasant aroma of caramel and flowery hops. There was also a coriander-ish accent that added a bit of intrigue. Somewhat over carbonated with only mild to moderate hop bitterness that peaked a about 4 out of 10. Most of the bite in this one came from the CO2. Dry on the tongue. Citrus and light alcohol dominated the flavor.

(Bottle) A nice gold and cloudy look. There was minimal head, but a smell of citrus. The flavor is fruity and clean. The beer is not particularly bitter. There is a nice smooth feel on the palate. This is very drinkable.

Bottle from Market of Choice in Ashland. We had a Hair of the Dog Adam a while back, and it was impressive to say the least. The DIPA isn’t any different. Distinct flavor of grapefruit juice, and that’s it. Nice aftertaste and control on the palate. Tough to say it was better than Stone IPA, but that’s the truth. A definite re-buy.
