Sweet and piney...Pours rather hazy light yellowish-amber. Gets downright cloudy by end of bottle. About one finger of soft white head that mostly stays around. Aroma of pine and grapefruit, maybe a little vanilla, kind of sweet and sour. Mouthfeel kind of soft, smooth. Nice heavy lacing. Flavor is the pine along with malt sweetness and a hint of sour, a bit of grapefruit. Some bitterness overlays which lingers into the aftertaste. Gave me a pretty fair buzz for only a 7% beer. bgburdman9 (823), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Aroma of citrus and a little malt. Maybe a little lemony witte flavor? Definitely quenched my hop thirst in the middle of sours, stouts, and belgians. harrisoni (6771), Ashford, Kent, England
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 1, 2006 Bottle from Belmont Station, Portland. Cloudy pale gold. Astringent hop aroma. Extreme hop. Body is quite full due to sedimented yeast. Astringent hot hop aroma. Overly carbonated. Herby. Good quality in mouth though and then astringent acidic hop finish. Intense. Very intense. Citrus fruits are lemony grapefruit with a nice alcohol faint sweetness. Dries the mouth. Herbry astringent hop is done very very well. shadey (1496), Rochester, New York, USA

Hazy medium yellow, foamy murky orange/yellowish head, chunks of sediment - looks great. Really nice aroma - tons of citrus orange, zest, fresh hops, slightly soapy. Taste - oh yeah, so many citrus hops. Tangy hop finish. Some malt as well. Foamy mouthfeel. Lively. A nice beer! BeerandBlues2 (3203), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

Pours a hazy light golden color with a good size white head. Lively carbonation. Has a very nice floral, citrus hop aroma with a slight medicine smell. Flavor is citrus hops and slight esters with a touch of yeast (lots in the bottom of the bottle). The carbonation is noticeable on the palate. Light to medium body. A good beer, but lacks the 2IPA punch. Reminds me of a Belgium ale. Thanks Steve.
