Aroma is over the top hops. This is the most bitter IPA I have ever had and I love every minute of it. Excellent. madcow75 (425), Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 8, 2006 Bottle. Pours pale yellow with almost no head, just a whisp of white. Aroma is of citrus, grapefruit, lemon, some spices. This is bitter, mostly hops, very citrusy, some yeast/cloves. This got better as warmer, very harsh at first, but smoothed out along the way. This is an interesting IIPA, not like any other I have had before. OldGrowth (1426), North Carolina, USA

Yeasty clovey, lite citrus, orange & lemon, hint of banana. Hazed orangy gold color, big head & good lace. Bitter flavor. Like aroma, though not as good, less diverse. Grassy, clove, lemon. still enjoyable. Medium body, smooth oily mouthffel, bitter finish. Really enjoyed this one, thought it stood out abit from alot of American IIPA’s , especislly after having the Wyterbacher q the other night ontario102 (794), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 6, 2006 Updated: Oct 7, 2006Pours with pillowy, one finger head leaving cumulus lacing over a opaque, honey-like murky body; abundant yeast, lemon peel, earthy and citrus hop aroma; not alot of body, but plenty of resinous, oily, piney hops; no malt charactor to speak of because it’s completely oblitorated by fruity, Belginesque yeast and hops. Pure and simple hop juice, but not much more. That’s OK with me. Pailhead (2597), Allen Park, Michigan, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Oct 4, 2006 A golden appearance with a moderate head. A citrus and perfume aroma. The flavor contains some lemons, honey, and orange peel. Not as bitter as I would expect but a good effort nonetheless.
