Feb 13, 2008 Pours the color of honey with very little head, which doesn’t last. Cloudy from the sediment, but a lovely bright orange color, still. Smell is mild for the style somewhat, but a still nicely hoppy in the form of orange and grapefruit citrusy character. Taste is much the same flavors of orange and grapefruit but sharply and well bittered to match. Exceptionally clean flavor, crisp and the alcohol doesn’t get in the way either. Medium bodied, with soft carbonation and quite refreshing and pretty tasty and drinkable. This is the first HOTD beer I’ve really loved, after having tried "Ruth" and "Doggie Claws" too.

May 22, 2006 A nice big grassy hop aroma. A nice golden orange. A taste that is both sweet and sour ant the amde time. The alcohol seemed to come through more than the 7% and kinda pushed the malt aaround but a good brew none the less.

Oct 23, 2008 Bomber from South Bay. Fairly dark orange in color. Strong peppery citric hop aroma. Slightly sweet up front. Hop character is somewhat peppery and dry. Good hop character.

Apr 29, 2009 Cloudy pale bronze, sloppy white soap sud head. Nose was grapefruit-like. Plump yet possibly with a touch of musty spice. Bitter and dry with medicinal citrus flavors and rindish finish. Clean enough and enjoyable but lacking distinct character.

Oct 22, 2006 Updated: Nov 26, 200622 oz. bottle via trade with hopdog - Opened with a big hiss. Pours a hazy light golden color with a good size white head. Lively carbonation. Has a very nice floral, citrus hop aroma with a slight medicine smell. Flavor is citrus hops and slight esters with a touch of yeast (lots in the bottom of the bottle). The carbonation is noticeable on the palate. Light to medium body. A good beer, but lacks the 2IPA punch. Reminds me of a Belgium ale. Thanks Steve.

Apr 7, 2008 22oz bottle. Poured a murky, swamp water orange with a small off white head. Nose was bursting with fresh fruit and floral hops. Finish was very malty and smooth. Another great one from HotD!!

Oct 3, 2006 Pours to a lightly cloudy light copper color w/ a huge fluffy white head & some nice lacing. Well blended aroma nice carmel malt & a good amount of sweet grapefruits. Palate is well coated. Flavor is a nice fruity hop strawberries & tropical fruits some citrus as well w/ a good amount of carmel. a pretty sweet iipa, very nice stuff.

Aug 31, 2007 22 oz bottle bought from The BeirStein in Eugene OR. Hazy dark orange color with nice aromas with hints of fruit for the most part. Apricot and some mango. Flavors were similar with the bitterness going over to the the grassy stuff. Pretty good.
