Sugary, almost jelly aromas. Amazing nose. Medium to full bodied with great complexity. Initial yeasty citrus tone. Great lingering bitternes. Bubblegum note. Nice palate. Touch grapefruit. Easy but with big edges. The bitterness and tingling hop crisp roll out the finish. ElGaucho (1730), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

Dry, citrus aroma with some sour notes and hints of Belgian yeast. Murky, light orange body with a large, frothy, small bubble white head. Belgian qualities. Fairly heavily carbonated. Sweet, not overly hoppy in a west coast sense. Different. Not a knock you over the head hop monster. Very nice. jake65 (1725), Williston, North Dakota, USA

Thick sheets of clumpy lacing. Nose is a dry floral hoppyness with light citrus. Flavor is fruity of citrus and mango into a full-on intense hop whallop. Tons of florals come through to dominate with very little sweetness. Lingering bitters, but not overly bitter. Just pure hop dominance. The tip of my tongue feels like it was scalded by the hop massacre. And I loved every bit of it! ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA

Pours out a clouded yellow color with a creamy white head. Smell is hops, pine, grapefruit, and spices. Taste is similar, bitter and malty and exceptionally well balanced. Sure its low ABV for a double IPA, but who really cares? This IPA is up there with Dreadnaught without the massive bitterness. Very nicely balanced, very easy to drink, and just great in general. Thanks chris for sending, and thanks Alan for brewing this great beer. Glad I have another one of these. Fucking Fantastic. SudsMcDuff (1703), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 14, 2006 Pours a light hazy orangey body with faint head that laces as I drink away. Aroma is beautifully big with huge hops of citrus, flowers, pine, banana and clove. Flavour is fresh and malty with doughy flavour before slowly moving to the grapefruity hop finish. Nice oily texture with a nice balance of hops and malts. Nice beer. jfm (1694), Holbæk, Denmark
