Sep 17, 2006 This imperial IPA pours a light orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Large sized white foamy head. Aroma is floral and grapefruity hops with some pine and malt. A medium bodied 2xIPA. Malts are fruity and sweet, but overpowered by the hop assault. Grapefruity, floral, and piney hop flavors abound. With all those hop flavors it only moderately bitter. Yet the bitterness has some staying power. Very well balanced, very drinkable Imperial India Pale Ale. Hides the 11% alcohol very well. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Mar 31, 2007 JSquire, Hotstuff and I had this at a tasting party at his house last night. This bottled brew from a rating party poured a very large sized head of foamy finely sized white colored slow rising bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a semi-hazy softly carbonated yellow colored body and a thick foamy lacing. It had a funky mild floral hop malt aroma. The mouth feel was very tingly at the start and at the finish with a strong floral hop aftertaste. The strong flavor contained notes of floral hops that was smooth and not at all biting. Delicious and one I would certainly drink again.

Mar 28, 2007 Bottle. [Blind tasting session @ Sk8viking] #18 Small white head. Fair lacing. Cloudy orange color. Flowers, grass, pine, citrus, grapefruit, elder flower, light caramel. Full bodied with an extremely dry texture. Moderated flavor with some light bitter notes. Crisp dry and long lasting finish. Wow what a hoppy experience.

Unclear straw yellow - big white head. Aroma: High hoppy, citrus, grape, pine, soap, light flowery. Taste: Citrus, cactus, grape, pineapple, light straw, pine, violent hoppy, not much malty sweetness. Dry and very bitter finish.

Jan 2, 2007 Hazy orange golden with fine white thick creamy head. Aroma and taste of Citrus/orange/grape, pine, hops -soap/flowers + yeast. Soft mouthfeel & carbonation. Little malty sweetness that matches fine with the power amount of hops that is used. Again I sense a taste of pepper like the other products I’ve tasted from the brewery. Lasting bitter finish! Numbness from hops! Great!

Jun 3, 2006 Poured a hazy golden color with a small,. white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of pine, citrus fruits, toffee malts, and some floral hops. Taste of pine, some caramel malt, citrus fruit, grapefruit, grassy hops, toffee, and a medium bitter, citrus finish.
