Feb 11, 2007 (Bottle, thanks to Marsiblursi) Sampled at a tasting night at Marsiblursi’s place. Shady apricot color, white head. Scent are from hops and pine, very intense and oily, green hops from the bag smell. Spritzy mouthfeel that transforms into mouth puckering dry bitterness. Piny and hoppy taste with a huge bitterness.

Sep 11, 2006 KP’s Fest. Pours a cloudy murky yellowish gold with a fluffy white head. Aroma is resiny citrus hops, cascades, centennial citrus and light pine. Thick and sweet malt profile, lots of bready pale malts and some light crystal balanced with a nice strong hoppy finish. Good bitterness. Overall seemed a bit yeasty and dirty.

Mar 3, 2007 Bottle. I expected a bit more of this one, but it is still a very good beer. Powerful aroma and taste of hps with some nice sweetness in the finish. Well balanced.

Hazy orange colour. White head. Pale, citrusy/grapey nose. Very clean and does not seem so malty. Funky citrusy flavour with grapey bitterness. Good funky-pale-sourish flavour profile, unusual in 2IPA’s.

Oct 24, 2006 Pours hazy yellow straw with a foamy white head, lasting and lined lacing. Aroma is huge hops (citrus, floral, pine), doughy yeast, straw and hay, meal and cereal malt, grassy finish. Moderately bitter and acidic piney and floral hops, malt and yeasty cardboard flavor, alcohol notes at the end. Medium bodied and fizzy, dry and chalky palate.

Apr 20, 2006 Draft at HDG. Gold with a thick, trademark HOTD head. Aroma has some bubblegum but is pretty hoppy with fruit flavors of mango, papaya and pineapple. Not too sweet but really balanced the way I like it. I’d drink this every day.
