Dec 24, 2009 Pours amber, orange with a mostly disapating off white colored head. Aroma is very hoppy with lots of citrus, pine and floral notes. Flavor is very juicy. Very nice beer. Would love to have again.

Sep 8, 2008 Tap @ Higgins, Portland. Clear golden color, beautiful head. Aroma of grapefruit and pine. Very bitter and quite sharp taste. Good stuff.

Oct 26, 2005 Draft. Hazy amber beer with a nice off-white head. Nig citrus/tropical fruit aroma thats almost Pliny-like. Sweet malt flavor with lots of fruity hops - citrus, apricot, tropical. Nice lingering hop finish. Full bodied. Very good.

Jul 15, 2006 Hazy peach-colored liquid is topped by a fleeting, white head. The aroma whaps you in the sinuses with a huge pineapple and grapefruit hoppiness. Beautiful aroma. The flavor is a bit of a letdown. Not because it’s bad, but because it just ain’t a strong as I expected after that aroma. The flavor is a mild maltiness with a very light bitterness.

Hazy golden beer ( almost looks like a trad. German hefe), large eggshell white head.
Strong aromas of pine and spicey hop, some hints of valencia orange for some reason.
Sweet and malty for a second then a torrent of piney/citric hopping cleanses, no scours almost the tongue, then it sort of balances out again in the end.
Very drinkable and feels very nice and light on the palate, which i think is an advantage in a very hoppy beer.
Nice beer but not quite a Double IPA, but more than just a plain old IPA. I think this fits rather neatly in the middle of the two categories.

Jan 4, 2008 Poured a cloudy orange color body with a huge, sticky, off-white foam. The aroma was quite floral with some resiny pine notes. Flavors are grapefruits, pine needles, coriander, clove, and a semi-sweet malt backbone. A little medicinal at first but that wore off after a few minutes.

Dec 8, 2007 Pours hazy amber with a huge rocky head. Aromas are a nice hoppy blend of pine, citrus, and a hint of lemon. Flavor is slightly sweet balanced out by the potent bitterness. Finish is dry and bitter. Good IIPA.

Jan 18, 2008 Bottle 2007 from freinds at the Dilly Deli. Poured a hazy golden color with an average frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Heavy complex citrus and resin hoppy aroma with a small alcohol tone. Medium body with a smooth slick texture. Heavy bitter flavor with a medium bittersweet and small alcohol bite finish of moderate duration. This is a standout beer.
