HUGE citrus nose! Grapefruit up front with some orange and peach in the background. Medium mouthfeel with some malty sweetness followed by a huge bitter punch in the face. Aftertaste could linger for hours. Sticky, resiny coating in the back of your throat the never ends. I was extremely impressed by this beer. troopie (898), USA

Hoppy flavour with a quenching quality, notes of citrus, naartjies?, and malt. Lingering hop finish. Well balanced and seems lower in alcohol than it is. akaufman (16), Seattle, Washington, USA

Great double! Plently of fresh, raw hop flavor. Seemed like the hop combination might have been a little off. But a great beer non the less!! KyotoLefty (1465), Kyoto, Japan

Deep, dark amber-orange color, cloudy. Thin, bubbly head. Big citrus hop aroma; rich and elegant, fruity, piney, with dark fruits. Smooth, full mouth. Caramel malt flavor is light but solid. Complex and unique, with hops like a freshly squeezed grapefruit. Fantastic! Huge and elegant hop complexity. The best IPA of any strength I have tried to date.

Decent lacing. Strong hoppy flavor with a nice citrus hint to it. Flavor is very hoppy and refreshing. Finishes with a nice grapefruit bite, and maybe even a little pine. A very nice imperial IPA. Smells of nice balanced citrus, flowers and caramel. Tastes lightly tangy with a great hoppy balance. Wish I could say more, but I’m too busy enjoying this one.
