| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 16, 2008 Deep blond color, huge foam, persistent perlage. The aroma is hoppy, dry, resiny, with some malt mellow note. Medium body strength, almost all the flavor comes from the hops; some malt is noticeable later, but the hop oils win all. I’m surprised by the big quantity of yeast in the bottle, that spoils a bit the taste of the last glass. Unbalanced. shadey (1501), Rochester, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 29, 2006 Mellon orange color. Lighter than expected with sparce white creamy bubbles. Aroma is different. Plenty of fruit and some alcohol. Very interesting, unique. Pretty good. CaptainCougar (5534), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 14, 2006 Bottle thanks to wohlfs, tasted on 5/1/06: Pours a transparent copper orange with a nicely-lacing thin wispy white head. Fresh piney hoppy, lightly grapefruity aroma has good pale malty character with a touch of toasty caramel. Good fresh piney and grapefruity flavor hops mesh well with a touch of sweet caramel malt. Pretty well-balanced, but the body could be a little thicker, though I like the hop character throughout. Suttree (2748), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 6, 2006 Cloudy, light orange. Very piney & citrusy aroma, perhaps even a touch of Tang (the Astronaut’s drink) in there. Big hops at first, very little malt presence, it seems. Juicy grapefruit flavors in a slightly thin body (which works in the beer). Maybe some malt flavors at the end. Dickinsonbeer (3502), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 11, 2006 KP’s Fest. Pours a cloudy murky yellowish gold with a fluffy white head. Aroma is resiny citrus hops, cascades, centennial citrus and light pine. Thick and sweet malt profile, lots of bready pale malts and some light crystal balanced with a nice strong hoppy finish. Good bitterness. Overall seemed a bit yeasty and dirty. goldtwins (4085), Nesconset, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 2, 2006 Poured a hazy orange amber color with a thin off-white head. Big piney, grassy and soapy hop aroma. Alcohol notes present. The hop flavor almost completely covered the malt. I would have liked a little more sweetness. Peppery, spicy and bitter finish. The body was a little light.
