Dark yellow/golden color, off-white head, good lace. Sweet, bitter, fruity, grapefruit, grassy, paracetamol in the finish. Light sticky, light dry finish. Very typical flavor. fiulijn (7150), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 16, 2008 Deep blond color, huge foam, persistent perlage. The aroma is hoppy, dry, resiny, with some malt mellow note. Medium body strength, almost all the flavor comes from the hops; some malt is noticeable later, but the hop oils win all. I’m surprised by the big quantity of yeast in the bottle, that spoils a bit the taste of the last glass. Unbalanced. shadey (1500), Rochester, New York, USA

Aroma is different. Plenty of fruit and some alcohol. Very interesting, unique. Pretty good. Vac (2389), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 13, 2008 Pours with an orange body topped by a very thick, foamy head with some lacing left on the glass. It’s slightly sweet and malty with a nice floral and bitter hop presence with notes of pine, citrus and a hint of spice. Medium bodied and a touch warming. Nose is slightly yeasty/spicy (probably the rye), grapefruit and pine and light doughy sweet notes. Taste has distinct rye beer qualities of a slippery body that feels a touch thin, nice spiciness that almost overshadows the hops. Clean and crisp bitterness. As far as IIPAs go, this isn’t top tier, but throw in the rye aspect and you get a very interesting beer. Pretty cool beer and definitely glad I got to try it. Nice. Complex nose of apricot, citrus and bit pine backed up by pear and pineapple. Very nice. Straightforward malt profile with just enough sweetness to complement the heavy bitterness. Quite fizzy but nice enough texture. Nice IPA, but the hoppiness seems a little rough. Hawksfan17 (717), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
