22 0z. bottle this may be one of my favorite aromas, sweet pine and orange. i poured this beer with all its sediment into my glass so it was cloudy, but a nice gold and white thin head. nice lace. taste is bitter and thick. smoke, complex hops and subtle malt. dry with lingering grapefruit on the tongue. my ’hair of the dog’ journey begins with this i p a !

Pours amber, orange with a mostly disapating off white colored head. Aroma is very hoppy with lots of citrus, pine and floral notes. Flavor is very juicy. Very nice beer. Would love to have again.

The aroma of this is amazing. Floral and citrus notes. Cloudy, orange appearance with a nice head. Intense hop flavor with a refreshing hop finish. Excellent imperial IPA

Bottle fresh from Alan’s shelf. Murky orange-brown pour with a foamy, khaki head. Big bubbles and lacing that leaves oil sheen on the glass walls. HUGE aroma of fresh pink grapefruit hops, a little pine and some pineapple. Perfectly balanced flavour with the sweet northwest hops in the front and the malt backbone balancing it out in the finish. The bitterness hangs around in the end with some mandarin orange notes. This is not a palate crusher on bitterness. Definitely more hop nuances than just upfront bitterness. Wow, that’s nice.

Strong grapefruit hops aroma, sharp and full of awesome. Citrusy! There is nice malt to balance it all out, but lets forget about that, malt is a bit player here. Dry hopping must have been used as a bit of a hop pellet was to be found at the bottom of my glass. This must have added to the deep and powerful hop chords throughout this IPA. Hops!

Bottle from OTM in SD. Pours hazy, golden/copper with negligible head, honestly a pretty discouraging pour for a DIPA. Nose is orange citrus and slight pine. Flavor is citrus with a moderate hop punch and undertones of pine. There is also a very small hint of biscuits or bread of some type. Probably not my favorite hop varieties, but not bad for a try.

Purchased from Belmont Station in Portland, OR. Pours golden with a white head. Tastes of grapefruit, pine, and lots of hops. Would buy again (if I could get my hands on it!)

22 oz. bottle purchased at Central Market in Mill Creek, WA. Pours a beautiful golden color with a white head. Flavors: Grapefruit, pine, and bold hops...nothing short of an excellent IPA.

Great to finally try this! Draft at Brouwer’s in Seattle. Smoth, slightly funky-fruity big ipa. Lots of malts, apricot, sour-bitter finish. very very nice.
