Special 2007 edition. Hazy dark amber colored brew. Very sweet aroma, sweet fruits, cherries, honey and brown sugar. Malty, brown sugar, honey and some sweet bourbon. Overall pretty sweet, but still very enjoyable. Signs of a very good brew. BuckeyeBoy (1654), Boise, Idaho, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Mar 26, 2008 snifter @ hard liver - dark orange with thin head around the edges; smooth aromas of honey, fruit and lavender; very thin in texture compared to the chewy normal editions; flavors are sweet and again lots of honey; malty backbone is present, but much reduced; seems like a very different brew, but just as delicious; smooth and creamy finish Oakes (8092), gone rambling, Vietnam

Somewhat hazy amber. Chewy with a big hop signature. Huge fruity character with mango, berry, and papaya. The palate is actually a little plasticy, with hints of fruits but this sort of falls apart.
