Bottle from TheEpeeist, thanks! Orange color, pours a lively head. Huge maltaroma with nutmeg, figs, pipe tobacco and oak. Malty sweetish, alcoholic flavor with pepper, oak, pipe tobacco, Sauternes wine and dried fruit. Good complexity, though the oak reveals itself very strongly. Excellent!

12oz bottle from a trade, I honestly cant remember who. sorry. Batch 64. Pours a dark orange to brown in color with a nice tan head, Aromas of wood, tobacco( I didn’t realize this one until I read the previous ratings, but once I saw the word it became so obvious) vanilla, and a little more wood. Flavors of vanilla, sweet malts, oak, and just a nice mellow fruit flavor. This is a really good beer, and puts regular fred to shame. I have a hard time believing they are the same base brew. Thanks again to whoever sent this.

Bottled. Aroma has overripe fruits, oranges, oak, caramel vanilla and hops. Hazy, orange coloured with an off-white head. The taste is sweet and has bitterness. Quite well balanced. It has caramel, overripe and fresh fruits, oak and some port/cognac/whisky tones. Well bodied & full. Good beer
