Aroma – Huge aroma with the squash leading the pack.
Appearance – Dark Amber in color with a nice head and semi cloudy.
Flavor – A great beer mixed with the squash this was a wonderful beer. Love the deep rich flavors.
Palate – Nice Mouthfeel, great texture with a good dry finish.

Orange colored brew. Beer fits the Higgins restaurant well. Vergatable, spicy aroma. Malty, spicy, earthy, yeasty and vegetables in the flavor. Interesting brew. SuzyGreenberg (934), Seattle, Washington, USA Jul 28, 2008 draft @ HOTD brewery - dark orange and clear; sweet aromas of vegetables, spice and grain; drinks very smooth; warm and sweet; interesting, grainy texture Angeloregon (1867), Portland, Oregon, USA Jun 12, 2008 On tap at HOTD sale in Portland--light, clouded copper-amber body with no head. Nose of chewy, squash and some subtle sugars. Spicy, malty, and interesting, though not that great. Might pair up good. I need to revisit this brew. glkaiser (909), Seattle, Washington, USA Apr 4, 2008 Draft from beer dinner at Collins Pub. Very vegetal with spiced malt. A little alcohol burn. Smooth and interesting. Enjoyable. Served with a squash soup that was a wonderful, if not obvious, pairing.
