Thanks to Pantanap for sharing. Dark brown almost opaque with small beige pancake head. Cherry, apple aroma with barrel, beautiful, sweet, subtle smoke. Flavor is cherry, some alc, slightly sour, bourbon, sweet dark fruit, appe butter, dirty, earthy, smoke comes off as char, dates, alc finish, delicious. Medium to thin with watery body. What an amazing beer, one of the best that I’ve had in awhile, well since dirty horse.

Bottle THANK YOU DAKNOLE! Dark cloudy reddish brown with scattered lacing. Apple brandy beer with a perfect balance of sweetness and spiciness, both intense, with subtle harmonics of smoke and fruit. Exceptional.

[Bottle] shared by Tyler. Pours a clear caramel with ruby highlights and a small brown head. Aroma is apple skins, peated malt, brown sugar, brandy, caramel, alcohol, and raisins. Flavor is alcohol, roasted barley, peat smoked malts, and a nice touch of apple. Remarkably dry for a beer this big and this young. Medium body with little carbonation. I’m hoping the flavors will mellow and blend on this guy over a year or so.

T3. Huge thanks to padrefan98 for this one. I’d like a sixer of this to go please. Red brown with a tiny head and lace. Subdued nose. Oak and warmth. Tiny bit of sourness hidden in there, along with a hint of chocolate. The flavor was remarkably complex. Caramel, cola, hops and malt, vanilla. Smooth and sharp all at once. Seriously delightful. I cannot even begin to relate the complexity.

Thanks to AmEricanbrew for sharing. Flavor is apple wood smoked bacon, tart apple pie / crumble, cinnamon, and vanilla. Nose is pretty much the same. This beer is like a delicious breakfast and I really like to see the use of smoked malts. Well done. Medium mouthfeel. Long and haunting finish.

Thanks to suzygreenberg for trading me this bottle. Served from a bottle at toncatchers T3 tasting! Thanks to stefanje, lagunitasfan, weeheavysd, fordest, wetherel, alohac and of course toncatcher for suppling the house and grub. Phenominal beer. I hope to visit the creator this summer. So complex, so delightful. I wish I were a poet. Damn good, caramel, malts, vanilla. Incredible!

12 oz bottle courtesy of padrefan at T3 tasting. Brown pour with a very small thin head. The aroma was big and bold with mulling spices like cinnamon, cloves and allspice. The taste was complex and showed a fair amount of peat along with, apples, toffee, hazelnuts and spices. The finish is long with a lingering wine quality. The palate is smooth and creamy. Overall: A great brew. Thank Jon.
