Thanks to Trevor211 via trade. Pours opaque brown with a small trace of a dark drown head. Aromas of tobacco, cherries, oak, apples, maybe currants, caramel and a hint of some booze. Acidic sweetness end with a nice bitter bite. Smooth texture with a full body. Awesome beer. Wish I had a few bottles.

Huge thanks to AmEricanbrew for this one, now I just need another one! Pours with a very sparing head and a murky, deep brown body. Aroma of light smoke, bourbon, calvados, oak, chocolate, spice, sherry, tar, marshmallow, dark fruits (special B?), vanilla and tobacco. Taste is sweet, with smoke, tar, meat, dark fruits, really thick and eminently complex. Long, long, long duration, finishing woody with a light rochefort cheese note. Amazing. Syrupy, and warming. This beer completely lives up to the hype.

CPLYFO 09. 12 oz bottle shared by Fogdog. Pours a deep dark brownish almost ruby color with a slight haze and a nice lasting thin head. Aroma is tobacco leaf, tons of big toasty malts, molasses, fruity - figs and dates, dark candi sugar, good cold meaty smokeyness, tar notes sweet toffee, slight cidery sweetness along with hints of vanilla and oak but the big malts come through first. Flavor is so big yet not cloyingly sweet, and not too thick to drink, just tons of big malts and sugars that work so damn well together. Earthy and leathery hints along with more tobacco wrapper, ashy smoke, meaty, nice phenolics, vanilla, apple, and big sweetness. Huge, smooth and somehow way too easy do drink. Wish i had a whole bottle to myself. Actually, I wish I had about a case or more. Ridiculously good.

12oz bottle shared once again by pantanap. pours dark ruby with small tan head. nose of smoke, sherry, apple, cherry, plums, vanilla, wood, and honey. flavors of apple wood, sherry, cherry, smoke, with a wonderful finish of cigar ash, port, and chocolate. very low carbonation with a tad thin body. in some sips the alcohol overwhelmed the flavor profile but that and the moutfeel are minimal faults. at times this reminds me of dave. wow! this is one killer beer. I need some!

Thanks Andre. Rich beer full of cherry, apple, heavy malt, wood, brown sugar, and chocolate. Only downfall is the heavy alcohol and bitter smoke flavor. Overall, the apple makes this one a winner, and this one should only get better with additional time.
