Perfectly sweet and smooth, light fruit. Enjoyed it the same way I enjoy Abbaye des Rocs Brune. A great pre-Autumnal sipper. JMerritt (1320), Macomb, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Sep 11, 2005 Purchased at Sam’s Wine, Chicago. Slightly hazy, reddish golden with a small white head that is mostly diminishing. A strange aroma, I immediately detected peanut butter (?), rounded out by orange peels, vanilla cookie, and a slight alcoholic burn. Rather alcoholic flavor, dusty with wet paper/cardboard notes, apricots, vanilla, and something metallic/coppery. Creamy, lightly carbonationed mouthfeel. Engelsmann (653), Copenhagen, Denmark

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 29, 2005 This smells like peanut butter to me. And like the Adam, it has noticeable alcohol. However, I kind of think it tastes like P.B. Too! Reading the side of the bottle, it is difficult for me to pin what gives it this flavoring (it may just be the smell), but overall this is unique enough to be worth it. It’d be truly great if they could hide the alcohol better. SuIIy (1465), Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Aug 28, 2005 Bottle. Pours bright orange with a white head. CLoudy w/ light sediment. Nose is brandy and caramel, some floralness. Taste is light caramel, some piney feelings. An alcohol warmth and sting in the end. steview (902), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 22, 2005 batch 38 / not what i expected; rather, there is a fizzier, and sweeter yet more industrial soul. it’s good, yes. but this is more like a vegetable, or spiced brew, than i had first thought. here we go: floral, veggies, fruits, herbs, slightly spicy, sugary, and suprisingly strong in alcohol. there be some thorns on this rose. wooh-ha! | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 21, 2005 Bottle, from Julio’s, batch # 38. Good nose, sweet. Big initial bread, like a fresh loaf of a french baquette, Sugar, honey, maple. Hint of fruit. Tad hazy golden orange color, Ok head that faded quickly. I did pour kind of slow and left most of the sediment in the bottle for later. Bittersweet flavors, Like the aromas with the breadiness ruling, sugar sweet and a orange streak. Medium body, smooth oily mouthfeel, sweet drier finish. Not bad, but still a style I don’t get amped up about lamas (724), Adams Morgan, Washington DC, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 19, 2005 Bottle. Batch #36. A cloudy orange pour with tons of floaties and a HUGE foamy head that clings to the glass. Aroma is a little spicy and sour with some sweet candy, caramel, apples and alcohol underneath. Taste is light and floral with some spices and pepper. Hints of candied sugar and apples. The alcohol shows through too much.
