Hazy pale amber colour. Pale citric nose, with a lemony touch. Yeast is here as well, I recall this is bottle-conditioned? Very earthy backbone in flavour with American hops that gives pineapple. Pretty edgy in bitterness. Lots of fruits here, with delicate hop character.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 8, 2009 Pours a slightly cloudy golden yellow with a thick head. Pungent - it has a big aroma, mostly crisp citrus hops and some yeastiness - this almost has notes of a Tripel. Some sweet malts to counter, but nothing too special. Flavor is nice - very smooth, almost velvety texture, with a bit of a peppery bite. It’s definitely a tad on the yeasty side, but it’s a good example of a standard pale ale. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 8, 2009 Appearance: Pours a hazy, pale orange body with a thin, bubbly, white head.
Smell: Pretty simple aroma with sweetish pale malts and a light hop scents of flowers and spice.
Taste: Standard, sufficient pale malts with a hint of crumpled unsalted crackers and an overall medium-low sweetness. Spicy, floral hops with a clean, medium-high bitterness. A tad yeasty. Finishes dry with a persistent touch of bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-low carbonation.
Drinkability: A basic, but basically decent pale ale. ekstedt (2456), Göteborg, Sweden
